Mark Laverick

Managing Director and Senior Hydraulic Designer

Mark has been working in the Hydraulic Services/Plumbing Industry for over 40 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the design, documentation and installation of hydraulic services. He has an excellent understanding of plumbing systems having worked as a plumbing contractor for 9 years from 1980 – 1988.

Mark completed his diploma of Engineering in 1991 and worked for major hydraulic engineering companies in Brisbane before moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2006 to commence his own consulting company, Plumbing Design & Drafting.

Qualifications: Diploma of Engineering Construction Hydraulics, Trade qualified plumber, drainer and gasfitter.
Memberships: AHSCA, ASPE, BPA (Qld)

Scott Szucko

Hydraulic Consultant

With his extensive background and knowledge in the building and plumbing design industry, Scott is a highly skilled hydraulic consultant. He has accumulated over 20 years of experience, including 9 years in private consulting, 7 years in council compliance and assessment, and 6 years in building design.

Throughout his career, Scott has successfully designed a wide range of plumbing and fire systems for various projects, ranging from a multi-billion dollar correction facility, health care buildings to residential dwellings.

Qualifications: Diploma of Engineering Construction Hydraulics, Certificate IV Renewable Energies, Certificate IV in Residential Drafting
Memberships: AHSCA

Danielle Rooth

Cadet Hydraulic Engineer

Danielle started working with Plumbing Design & Drafting in 2009 as our business administrator before completing her Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services. Danielle now has in excess of 12 years of experience in the hydraulic services sector, specialising in the production and presentation of 2D and 3D technology designs.

Danielle has developed the ability to understand technical design and is currently completing her Diploma of Engineering Construction Hydraulics to assist with her professional development within the company.

Qualifications: Certificate IV in Plumbing Services

Juanita Tate

Senior CAD Technician

Juanita has been drafting hydraulic, fire and electrical services with AutoCAD and Revit for over 20 years.

Originally based in Brisbane and working for a large multi-discipline company, before moving to the sunshine coast and joining the Plumbing Design & Drafting team in 2011.

Qualifications: Revit MEP Fundamentals, Revit MEP Advanced, Certificate IV in Plumbing Services

Helen Laverick

Office Manager and CAD Technician

Helen has worked in the building services design industry for more than 40 years. She is proficient at producing CAD drawings for plumbing design, fire and electrical services.

Working alongside Mark for the last 20 years, she has developed a wide range of skills to create and maintain a strong family-based business, with emphasis on quality outcomes for our customers.
